The LEGO car I used for this project is the A55355 Ford F-150 42126. It has 1379 pieces and the final result is a car that is about 42 x 18 x 15 cm in size.
The 370 DC motor comes with a metal gearbox and has a maximum speed of 720 rpm. The LEGO car does not run very fast with this motor, but it is a good choice because the car is quite heavy, weighing about 2 kg.
Brushed ESC BDESC-S10E-RTR can be used with 2S or 3S Lithium battery. Detail specs:
- Battery support:
- Ni-MH, Ni-Cd 4 - 6 group ( 4.8 V ~ 7.2 V );
- Lithium battery 3 groups ( 7.4 V - 11.1 V )
- Current parameters: forward 320 A, reverse 160 A, brake 270 A
- BEC output: voltage 5.6 V, current 2 A ( supply electricity for receivers, servos )
- Size: 43 x 29 x 27 mm
To power the car. We use a 2200mAh battery.
Transmitter and Receiver are MC6C and MC7RB. Detail build steps you can see in this video:
